Ms. Callantine is a partner whose practice primarily involves representing insurers (and, occasionally, policyholders) in coverage disputes, including litigation over alleged bad-faith claims handling and contribution actions between insurers. Ms. Callantine also provides insurers with coverage opinions, represents them in appraisal proceedings, and assists with handling suspected fraudulent claims. Ms. Callantine is experienced in both property and casualty claims under policies ranging from personal lines homeowners and automobile policies to complex commercial lines policies. As a Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Callantine is often asked to assist with claims and lawsuits involving complex business interruption losses or other complicated accounting issues.

Ms. Callantine is a frequent writer and lecturer on insurance-related topics. She is the Chair of the Property Insurance Law Committee of the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association, and she has also served on that Section's Task Force on Disaster Insurance Coverage. Ms. Callantine was recently appointed Vice Chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco's Insurance Section. And she is the author of the recent publication: The California Continuing Education of the Bar's (CEB's) chapter on basic coverage in property insurance in its upcoming Property Insurance treatise. Ms. Callantine also serves as a mediator for business and insurance coverage disputes and is a volunteer panelist for the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Early Settlement Program.

Ms. Callantine received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 1985. She received her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1991. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of San Francisco.
