Real Estate & Construction
CPW attorneys have handled a wide variety of real estate matters including private boundary disputes, residential and commercial lease actions, unlawful detainer actions, real estate sales and nondisclosure claims, and complex disputes resulting from failed multi-unit development projects.
We have represented owners regarding state and federal claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), and the Federal Fair Housing Act. We also have represented owners, lenders, and contractors in various construction disputes including design defect claims, delay and disruption claims, change orders, liens and stop notices, surety issues, and terminations. We also draw on our insurance experience to advise owners, contractors, managers and others on insurance coverage for construction claims.
